Resolved Question: How do I make my car's exhaust sound louder?

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier and it's kind of boring. I want a safe and LEGAL way to make the exhaust/muffler to sound louder like a muscle car. I also want it to cost under $40. I have seen the Thrush Welded Exhaust systems but do the mufflers really make the car sound a lot louder? Are they legal? I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana if it helps.
